Besides your SCCM 2012 Installation you will need Access to the Report Service and have installed the SQL Report builder. Let&#8217;s say you will a simple Report, that Shows the Resource ID, NetBios Name and the Last Hardware Scan of your machines.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/hosebei.wordpress.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/report-builder-00.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-694 aligncenter\" alt=\"Create Report\" src=\"http:\/\/hosebei.wordpress.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/report-builder-00.png?w=300\" width=\"300\" height=\"203\" \/><\/a><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Chose &#8220;Create Report&#8221; and the &#8220;Create Report Wizard&#8221; appears, where you have to add the Information about your specific report. In my case, I created a new Folder to store the report, I didn&#8217;t want to mix up custom and built-in reports.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/hosebei.wordpress.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/report-builder-0011.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-696\" alt=\"Create Report Wizard\" src=\"http:\/\/hosebei.wordpress.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/report-builder-0011.png?w=300\" width=\"300\" height=\"254\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.hosebei.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/report-builder-0011.png 769w, https:\/\/blog.hosebei.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/report-builder-0011-300x254.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Complete this wizard, and with clicking on Close, it will ask you to install the SQL Report Builder if it is not already installed. I just used the same Account as I use when I set up the report role:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/hosebei.wordpress.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/report-builder-04.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-700\" alt=\"report credential\" src=\"http:\/\/hosebei.wordpress.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/report-builder-04.png?w=300\" width=\"300\" height=\"223\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.hosebei.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/report-builder-04.png 384w, https:\/\/blog.hosebei.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/report-builder-04-300x223.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>And if you enter the Username and Password correct, it is possible, that you receive the following error:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The certificate chain was issued by an authority that is not trusted<br \/>\n&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;-<br \/>\nA connection was successfully established with the server, but then an error occurred during the login process. I just change the certificate to one of my PKI:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/hosebei.wordpress.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/report-builder-02.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-704\" alt=\"change sql cert\" src=\"http:\/\/hosebei.wordpress.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/report-builder-02.png?w=289\" width=\"289\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.hosebei.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/report-builder-02.png 591w, https:\/\/blog.hosebei.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/report-builder-02-290x300.png 290w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 289px) 100vw, 289px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After this, just restart the SQL Server Service:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/hosebei.wordpress.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/report-builder-03.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-705\" alt=\"sql restart\" src=\"http:\/\/hosebei.wordpress.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/report-builder-03.png?w=300\" width=\"300\" height=\"113\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.hosebei.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/report-builder-03.png 515w, https:\/\/blog.hosebei.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/report-builder-03-300x113.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>After this small hurdle, you can start with your report, but let us start with our easy report, add Name and Last Hardware Scan Date to the report. Open the &#8220;Views&#8221; Tree and navigate to &#8220;v_GS_SYSTEM&#8221;, select &#8220;ResourceID&#8221; and &#8220;Name0&#8221;:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/hosebei.wordpress.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/report-builder-05.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-706\" alt=\"add first table\" src=\"http:\/\/hosebei.wordpress.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/report-builder-05.png?w=300\" width=\"300\" height=\"220\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.hosebei.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/report-builder-05.png 853w, https:\/\/blog.hosebei.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/report-builder-05-300x220.png 300w, https:\/\/blog.hosebei.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/report-builder-05-768x564.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>To get the Information about the Hardware Scan navigate to &#8220;v_GS_WORKSTATION_STATUS&#8221; and add &#8220;LastHWScan&#8221;:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/hosebei.wordpress.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/report-builder-06.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-707\" alt=\"second table\" src=\"http:\/\/hosebei.wordpress.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/report-builder-06.png?w=300\" width=\"300\" height=\"214\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.hosebei.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/report-builder-06.png 942w, https:\/\/blog.hosebei.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/report-builder-06-300x215.png 300w, https:\/\/blog.hosebei.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/report-builder-06-768x550.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Now we have added Information from two different tables, and we have to create a Realtionship between the tables.
